Featured Research Field: Life, Environmental, and Material Science.
We provide educational service related to important study fields in 21st century especially focusing on solution for environmental problems, improvement of bio-technology, and development of new materials in this department. Our aim is to bring up students who will consider and decide on his/her own about chemical phenomena, biological reaction, etc. Our staff, supported with up-to-date machines of High-Tech Research Center in SIT, have been working on cutting edge research fields and getting achievements which are ranked as top-class in private universities/colleges around Kanto-area, in Japan
Development of basic ability and thorough practice and exercise.
We think it to be very important for our students to acquire the basic knowledge concerning chemistry and biology during the 4-year under graduate period. From this point of view, the 1st-year students are divided into several classes according to their background knowledge and learn bases of chemistry, biochemistry, etc. thoroughly. Especially, we provide experiment practices every school year through which students will acquire the flexible thinking for the application of their knowledge.
Support for Skill up and Qualification
We have been supporting students who want to be certified as Environmental Measurer, Pollution Control Manager, or other national certifications with lectures and training. There are several alumni who have actually been certified.
Careful support for graduate school admission
or chemist, higher-level "chemistry" has been required in the recent world and the number of students who want to proceed to higher education is getting large. In order to support students who intend admission for graduate schools, we provide extra classes with more specialized lectures and exercises which are focused on entrance examinations.
